چکیده
This study proposes a novel Modified Bond-Based PeriDynamic (MBB-PD) model based on the bonds' classification. classification of bonds is performed basis equivalent hypothetical local strains and falls into three categories horizontal normal, vertical shear bonds. While classical PD (BB-PD) considers only stretch bonds, all components are taken account in proposed model.A imaginary element considered around each bond to estimate true bond. The constitutive relations derived from equating strain energies deformations Classical Continuum Mechanics (CCM) for generalized combined loading condition. A critical criterion angle predict failure normal respectively. It also shown that, unlike BB-PD, does not impose any limitations value Poisson's ratio. verified by investigating some intact plane stress problems under mechanical thermal loadings. Moreover, deformation damage contours corresponding stress-strain responses presented different with pre-existing defects validated eXtended Finite Element method's (XFEM) analysis.

mortality forecasting based on lee-carter model
over the past decades a number of approaches have been applied for forecasting mortality. in 1992, a new method for long-run forecast of the level and age pattern of mortality was published by lee and carter. this method was welcomed by many authors so it was extended through a wider class of generalized, parametric and nonlinear model. this model represents one of the most influential recent d...

In this paper, the bond-based peridynamic system is analyzed as a nonlocal boundary value problem with volume constraint. The study extends earlier works in the literature on nonlocal diffusion and nonlocal peridynamic models to include non-positive definite kernels. We prove the well-posedness of both linear and nonlinear variational problems with volume constraints. The analysis is based on s...
متن کاملThe Cauchy Problem for a One Dimensional Nonlinear Elastic Peridynamic Model
This paper studies the Cauchy problem for a one-dimensional nonlinear peridynamic model describing the dynamic response of an infinitely long elastic bar. The issues of local well-posedness and smoothness of the solutions are discussed. The existence of a global solution is proved first in the sublinear case and then for nonlinearities of degree at most three. The conditions for finite-time blo...
متن کاملLattice properties of strained GaAs, Si, and Ge using a modified bond-charge model.
A phenomenological lattice dynamics model based on the bond-charge model has been developed that describes how strain affects phonon frequencies and elastic constants in groups IV ~homopolar! and III-V ~heteropolar! semiconductor thin films and strained layers. A quasiharmonic approach is adopted, using force constants that depend linearly on strain. This model uses available experimental data ...
متن کاملStudy of Stone-wales Defect on Elastic Properties of Single-layer Graphene Sheets by an Atomistic based Finite Element Model
In this paper, an atomistic based finite element model is developed to investigate the influence of topological defects on mechanical properties of graphene. The general in-plane stiffness matrix of the hexagonal network structure of graphene is found. Effective elastic modulus of a carbon ring is determined from the equivalence of molecular potential energy related to stretch and angular defor...
